About Terrafirma
Terrafirma Ceramics is a pottery studio in New York City, founded by artist Ellen Evans in 1980. Every piece is built by hand from natural stoneware, and its pattern is made by painting liquid porcelain through lace and fabric. The pieces are fired at very high temperatures for strength, then signed and dated. All Terrafirma is food safe and dishwasher safe.
